Description of Organization:
Riverkeeper is a member-supported watchdog organization dedicated to defending the Hudson River and its tributaries.
Bnai Mitzvah Projects or Volunteer Opportunities offered by the organization for children ages 11 - 13:
Riverkeeper hosts an annual day of service the first weekend in May, have volunteer-lead community outreach tables, and have a toolkit for interested volunteers to organize and host cleanup projects.
