ORT America provides cutting-edge training and strategic educational initiatives that empower over 300,000 people annually in 37 countries to become productive citizens and lead their families and communities forward. This is a responsibility ORT America welcomes as part of its commitment to supporting Jewish values, strengthening Jewish identity and providing the educational opportunities that help people help themselves.

Bnai Mitzvah Projects or Volunteer Opportunities offered by the organization for children ages 11 - 13:

ORT America’s Teens for Teens iMitzvah Project offers fundraising opportunities for two programs benefiting students at Jewish schools
1. Supporting a Student at Risk provides students clothing, hot meals, transportation vouchers, textbooks and school supplies for one year. Funding required: $550 per student.
2. Robotics helps prepare students in Jewish schools in the former Soviet Union for future success in science and technology. Funding required: Equipment costs ranging from $350 to $1,000.
