Description of Organization:
For over a quarter of a century, we have remained committed to helping Jewish families in need throughout metropolitan Chicago by providing immediate assistance. With over 40 programs and services, including a food pantry, eviction prevention, emergency loans, and job placement, we provide vital assistance to over 4,000 individuals a year.
Bnai Mitzvah Projects or Volunteer Opportunities offered by the organization for children ages 11 - 13:
Stocking shelves in the food pantry, clothing in our clothing department, sorting, housewares, etc.
