Ready to put that talent to good use?
Join Areyvut at the Young Israel of Teaneck for a day of fun, excitement and giving back! Areyvut invites you to attend our Mitzvah Clown Training.
Participants will learn the art of Mitzvah Clowning, how to interact with senior citizens, people with special needs and patients that are hospitalized, clownmakeup application, balloon animal creation and so much more. At the end of the training, all of the newest trained Mitzvah Clowns will go on their first site visit to Bright Side Manor in Teaneck, NJ to put their new skills into action. Participants will receive their certification in Mitzvah Clowning within a few weeks. Bring the joy of this wonderful mitzvah back to your community.
Space is limited, and advance registration is required.

Mitzvah Clown Trainee – $50.00
Mitzvah Clown Training Sponsor – $150.00 (Admits for 2 to training)
Lunch and a Mitzvah Clown Kit to be used for this and future Mitzvah Clown visits are included in the cost of the program.
Please note:
This program is open to children and adults. Children who want to participate in this program must at least be entering 6th grade.
Please bring clothing for your clown costume including: baggy pants, belts, crazy socks and ties, etc. The more colorful and mismatched, the better!
Participation in this program will involve transportation by private vehicle to the site visitation location from the Young Israel of Teaneck. By registering for this program you authorize your child or yourself to participate in this program and ride in a vehicle.
