That is the subject line of an e-mail I just received requesting my support. Areyvut like all nonprofits rely on individual donors to support our work. In fact, individual donors support nonprofits more than grants or corporations. I also understand that there is more money given to charity the last week of December than any other time of year, except when a natural disaster occurs. Guilting, scaring or pressuring donors to give isn’t a good tactic or strategy. People should give because they want to support the mission. If you want to contributeto Areyvut we thank you and appreciate your support. If not do not want to contribute to Areyvut at this time I ask that you don’t wait for an e-mail like the one I received because that’s not the way we operate.
