A Wharton Professor Teaching Outside the Classroom

Posted on April 10, 2013

Adam Grant, the most beloved Organizational Psychology professor at Wharton, believes in always giving to his students.  He has a hard time saying “No” to people’s requests, especially his students, but he believes that this is a positive and important thing to do.  Grant firmly believes that helping others is what motivates creativity and productivity and he is truly an inspiring person.  I wonder what would happen if we all thought and acted this way in the workplace.  Would this create a more positive working environment that would bring more productivity?
