We Value Our Interns

Robby Slaughter discusses how the most unethical aspect of the workplace today is the concept of unpaid interns.  He describes different conditions necessary to make unpaid internships legal and says how difficult it is to fulfill these requirements, making most unpaid internships today unethical.

At Areyvut, we value our interns and provide them with meaningful experiences that help them grow as individuals and learn valuable skills for their future careers.  We maintain connections with our interns well after the internship is over and often mentor them and provide them with career guidance.  We are thrilled that at least ten former interns now work in the organized Jewish community and/or non-profit agencies.  We hope that we will continue to train new interns to service the Jewish and broader communities.
