Bringing the Chair and the Donor Together

     In Stephen Donshik’s very important article, he addresses that donors can and should be utilized in more ways than their money-giving.  “There are many donors who want to be more involved and who do not want their connection to be limited to writing checks.  Limiting the donors’ personal and ongoing connections with the organization means losing an important opportunity to benefit from their commitment and often, their expertise.”  Recognizing this, is crucial to bettering our organizations and in the process bettering ourselves by acknowledging our coworkers strengths and putting them into action.
