Inspiring and Engaging Children through Chesed

Inspiring and Engaging Children through Chesed. That was the title of my presentation tonight at Congregation Beth Chaim in Princeton Junction, NJ. I had the pleasure of presenting to 50 8th and 9th graders and they were awesome. The program was focused on showing them the power they have to positively impact the world and to explore concrete ways of making a difference. The students had phenomenal ideas and next week will be selecting some of them to implement. I left excited, inspired and blessed that through Areyvut I have the ability to play an active role in getting students involved when they are young in chesed, tzedakah and tikkun olam.

If you want to support these programs and/or bring Areyvut to your school, synagogue or community let me know.

I want to thank Anne Berman-Waldorf, Congregation Beth Chaim’s Director of Lifelong Education for inviting me and to Sharon Stahl, Areyvut’s Special Project Coordinator for her help with the program.
