5 Days 5 Ways- Areyvut's Annual Chesed Camp Returns

Saturday, July 15, 2017

Once camp is done, what is your middle school student doing this summer?  How about spending a week making the world a better place!

Areyvut invites 5th, 6th, 7th, and 8th graders to join us August 21 to August 25 for 5 Days/5 Ways 2017, Areyvut's Annual Chesed Camp!  5 Days/5 Ways is a week-long service camp where participants will travel to different sites each day bringing joy and spreading kindness to those in need. They will learn how to be a Mitzvah Clown bringing smiles to people's faces; help clean trails and beautify and protect the environment; and pack food and other necessities for those in need. Each day will have a theme, and throughout the week, participants will do hands-on projects to benefit more than 15 local and Israel-based agencies.

Participants can sign up for individual days or for the entire week.

It promises to be a fun, meaningful and engaging experience that will last well beyond the summer.  Check out the video from our pilot year to learn about the program and the impact it had on the participants: http://bit.ly/2enROIa

5 Days/5 Ways will meet from 9:00-4:00 at 513 Kenwood Place (the Chabad of Teaneck).  We thank Friends of Lubavitch of Bergen County for their partnership.
