5 Days 5 Ways- Areyvut's Annual Chesed Camp Returns

Thursday, June 15, 2017

Building on our successful 2016 pilot program, we invite all current 5th-7th grade students to join us for 5 Days/5 Ways 2017, Areyvut?s Annual Chesed Camp!

5 Days/5 Ways is a week-long service camp that is open to boys and girls. Participants will travel to different sites each day bringing joy and spreading kindness to those in need. They will learn how to be a Mitzvah Clown and bring a smile to people's faces!  Help clean trails and beautify and protect the environment!  Pack food for those in need!

It promises to be a fun, meaningful and engaging experience that will last well beyond the summer.

5 days/5 Ways will meet August 21-25 from 9:00 to 4:00 at 513 Kenwood Place (the Chabad of Teaneck).  We thank Friends of Lubavitch of Bergen County for their partnership.

Each day will have a theme, and throughout the week participants will volunteer for, do hands-on projects to benefit more than 15 local and Israel-based agencies and have a great time in the process.  Check out the video from our pilot year to learn about the program and the impact it had on the participants: http://bit.ly/2enROIa

While the program is based in Bergen County it is open to all.

We encourage you to pass this along to family, friends and colleagues.
