5 Days 5 Ways- Areyvut's Annual Chesed Camp Returns

Friday, April 28, 2017

Building on our successful 2016 pilot program, we invite you to join us for 5 Days/5 Ways 2017, Areyvut?s Annual Chesed Camp!

Middle School students (current 5th, 6th, and 7th grade boys and girls) are invited to participate in a week-long service camp. We will travel around to different sites each day bringing joy and spreading kindness to those in need. Learn how to be a Mitzvah Clown and bring a smile to people's faces!  Help clean trails and beautify and protect the environment!  Pack food for those in need!

It promises to be a fun, meaningful and engaging camp that will last well beyond the summer.

Camp will meet Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday from 9:00 to 4:00 at 513 Kenwood Place (the Chabad of Teaneck).  We thank Friends of Lubavitch of Bergen County for their partnership.  (Due to Tisha B?Av, Tuesday?s program will be a shorter optional program off-site.)

Each day will have a theme, and throughout the week participants will volunteer for, do hands-on projects to benefit more than 15 local and Israel-based agencies.  Check out our first year video: http://bit.ly/2enROIa to hear about many of our activities and trips.
