Unity Day Chesed Fair
How can we respond to tragedy?
Last year on June 3, it was discovered that Eyal Yifrach, Gilad Shaar, and Naftali Frankel had lost their lives. One way to respond to tragedy is through engaging in acts of kindness. Join Areyvut on June 3 on Eyal, Gilad and Naftali?s first yahrzeit, to show unity among the Jewish people.
The goal of this unity event is to educate the community about ways to get involved in volunteer opportunities while offering children and adults a space to work together on various hands-on chesed projects. We hope that by both learning about and actively participating in chesed opportunities, we will be able to memorialize Eyal, Gilad and Naftali by helping to make this world a better place.
We are looking to bring together Israeli not-for-profit agencies to share opportunities with attendees to get involved in chesed in their memories. The event will be held on WednesdayJune 3rd at The Frisch School. Please let us know if you would be able to join us for this event!
