What's New

On Monday, January 18, 2010, Alex Meisels and a number of her friends and classmates joined Areyvut for a Mitzvah Clown training.  Participants in the program learned how to create balloon animals, apply clown make up and speak with individuals who may be hospitalized or in a nursing home. 

Once the training was complete, these newest Mitzvah Clowns headed to the Willow Towers Assisted Living Residence to brighten the day for many of its residents.  They were able to show off their new skills and interact with the residents in a meaningful way.  Thank you to the Meisels family, Willow Towers Assisted Living Residence and especially Alex Meisels for making this program such a great success!
