Samuel, is a 13 year old student in the 8th grade at the Torah Day School of Atlanta. He resides in Atlanta, GA with his family. For his Bar Mitzvah project Samuel created and sold "Mitzvah Bars", a chocolate candy bar, to raise funds to help find a cure for ML4 and provide camping experiences for children with Autism at Camp Yofi. Though Samuel initially sold these special candy bars only locally, their popularity grew, and his sales spread across the United States. To date, Samuel has raised over $3,000 in support of these two very important causes. Samuel remains involved with this project and has even developed a website to help generate even more sales.
