Roman Carnevale

Roman is a 13 year old 7th grade student at Briscoe Middle School in Beverly MA where he lives with his family.  Inspired by the important work by U.S. Service Men and Women, Roman created a mitzvah project that would directly impact them.  Over the last year Roman has been running drives in various locations to acquire donations that he then sends to soldiers serving in Afghanistan.  In addition to sending comfort and other items of necessity to the soldiers serving overseas, Roman has also taken the time to write letters to the soldiers thanking them for their service.  He continues to stay involved with this project and encourages anyone who is interested in learning more, or donating supplies to contact him at drsue15@msn.com.  Roman was a participant in Areyvut's 2010 Bnai Mitzvah Video Essay Contest.
