Mitchell Abrams

Mitchell Abrams is a resident of New City, NY and an 8th grade student at Felix Fiesta Middle School.  For his Bar Mitzvah Project he collected new books which he then donated to children with cancer at Tomorrows Children's Fund at Hackensack University Medical Center.  Mitchell began this project when he was 11 years old and over the past two years he has collected nearly 3,000 books.  Additionally, Mitchell is now in the process of starting a nonprofit organization, Kids. Love. Books. to continue this project.  Late last year, Areyvut was happy to crown Mitchell the Grand Prize Winner of our second annual Bnai Mitzvah Video Essay ContestClick here to view his winning video essay.
