Evan Langsam
 
Evan Langsam is a 13 year old student from Demarest, NJ.  He is an 8th grade student at Demarest Middle School.  This year, for his Bar Mitzvah project, he began delivering Shabbat meals every Friday to people in need through Jewish Family Service's Kosher Meals on Wheels (KMOW) program.  In addition to delivering meals weekly, he also collected household supplies and food items.  Evan remains committed to his volunteer work and continues to try to deliver meals on a regular basis.  Last month, Evan was awarded the JFS Teen Volunteer of the Year Award.
