Mission: The goal and mission for "Let's Play Ball - For All" is to raise awareness and enough funds to create a safe baseball field. This baseball field will be used as part of the Challenger baseball league and will enable children who have disabilities to play baseball without the fear of getting injured. This baseball field will afford anyone who wants to the chance to play baseball to have that opportunity.
Organization Description: "Let's Play Ball - For All" was started by Marcus Apter, a 13 year old student from West Hartford, CT and the Second Place Winner in Areyvut's 2nd annual Bnai Mitzvah Video Essay Contest. He has been working on this cause since he was 12 and hopes to raise enough money to create this, first of its kind, baseball field. To date, Marcus has raised roughly $6,500.
Fun Fact: Marcus believes that "Let's Play Ball - For All" isn't just a saying, but represents a dream come true. He is also featured in Areyvut's February 2010 Teen Scene.
