Concern for Helping Animals (CHAI)

April 2011

Organization:
 Concern for Helping Animals (CHAI)

Mission:
The mission of CHAI and Hakol Chai is to prevent and relieve animal suffering in Israel and to elevate consciousness about animals through education.  We strive to foster empathy, respect and responsibility toward all living beings, and to inspire and empower people, Jewish, Muslim and Christian to recognize the interconnectedness of all like and to make compassionate choices for the good of all.

Organization Description:
CHAI is a 501(c)(3) organization founded in the U.S. in 1984 that works with its sister charity in Israel called Hakol Chai (everything lives).  Click here to learn of our projects and accomplishments.

Fun Fact: Elephants save water during a drought by pulling the bark off a tree, chewing it to shape it into a ball, filling the ball with water, sealing it and burying it so when they return later, they will have water to drink.

How Can I Help?
You can help by donating to our programs and by spreading the word about the need to help Israel's animals and CHAI's work.
