H.O.P.E. 2017 Teen Philanthropy Program
Friday, March 24, 2017Areyvut is pleased to once again offer H.O.P.E. (Helping Organizations Provide Essentials), a Jewish Teen Philanthropy program to 7th graders at Yeshivat Noam in Paramus, NJ.
Participants contribute $100 and work as a board to determine community needs, develop a mission and ultimately allocate those funds. They will impact each other, the community and learn and develop skills that encourage them to give thoughtfully throughout their lives.
Since 2007, Areyvut's Jewish Teen Philanthropy programs have engaged almost 200 participants, allocated $43,000 to over 25 non-profits.
We are thrilled to once again partner with Yeshivat Noam on this exciting program and are confident it will be a meaningful and exciting program for all those involved.
Areyvut will be facilitating this program on Friday mornings at the school.
