Yael Muroff
Yael Muroff is the Grand Prize Winner of Areyvut's 2011 Bnai Mitzvah Video Essay Contest. For her Chesed Project Yael chose to organize the 9-11 CommUNITY Concert in commemoration of the 10th anniversary of September 11th and in honor of her Bat Mitzvah. The concert featured Neshama Carlebach and the Green Pastures Baptist Choir. The goal of her mitzvah project was to bring people together. Yael sold tickets to the concert and raised more than $11,000 for several community organizations in need in her hometown or Harrisburg, PA.
