David Broide
David Broide receives Honorable Mention for his video essay submission, "Never Forget Never Again" to Areyvut's 2009 Bnai Mitzvah Video Essay Contest. An 8th grade student from Hollywood, FL, David devoted his mitzvah project to collecting pennies in memories of all of the victims of the Holocaust. Currently, his penny exhibition is on display at the Holocaust Documentation and Education Center, where he will donate them on Yom HaShoah in April 2010 to help build the first South Florida Holocaust Museum.
