National Mitzvah Day
"The World is Built on Kindness"
"Olam Chesed Yibaneh"
March 16 - 18, 2012 Areyvut's National Mitzvah Day, is an opportunity to get children, teenagers and adults involved in chesed (kindness) and community service activities.
Now in its eighth year, Areyvut's National Mitzvah Day (formally known as "Make a Difference" Day) will be focusing on the phrase in Tehillim, Psalms 59:3, that says "The world is built on kindness." Therefore, the suggested activities focus around physical building, rebuilding communities and strengthening relationships. We are proud to be partnering with our colleagues at Ruach Tova on Good Deeds Day. With projects and initiatives taking place from Coast to Coast, there is something for everyone to get involved with! Need help figuring out a project? Check out our educational resources! Areyvut's National Mitzvah Day is the perfect opportunity to make a difference and give to your community through a variety of service projects.
