 National Mitzvah Day

The World Needs More Kindness

24 Hours of Chesed

 April 2, 2017

Areyvut's National Mitzvah Day, is an opportunity to get children, teenagers, and adults actively involved in chesed (kindness) and community service activities. Now in its twelfth year, Areyvut's National Mitzvah Day (formerly known as "Make a Difference" Day) is pleased to be partnering with Good Deeds Day!

This year's theme is The World Needs More Kindness.  We are working on a special project 24 Hours of Chesed.  The goal is to have concrete acts of kindness and chesed actively taking place around the globe for 24 hours straight.

Areyvut's National Mitzvah Day is the perfect opportunity to make a difference and give back to your community.

We have developed resources to help facilitate your involvement and participation.

We encourage you to use this Project Planning Unit we developed.

A list of 50 Ways for Individuals can participate.

These Hands on Projects can be done at home, school or synagogue and are great way to engage younger children in this program and to help your community.

This list of FAQ's should be of help and we encourage you to reach out to us at info@areyvut.org with any additional questions.
