A Package From Home - $5,500 Care Packages for Soldiers: To provide a three day respite for severely wounded soldiers whose multiple wounds require them to spend long periods of time recuperating in hospitals and in some cases require repeated surgeries. Care packages for these soldiers would also be provided. American Friends of Magen David Adom (AFMDA) - $2,500 Blood Bags: To provide funding to purchase blood bags for the Magen David Adom National Blood Services Center in Ramat Gan, Israel. This center is responsible for supplying 100% of the blood requirements of the Israel Defense Forces and 70% of the blood needs of Israel’s hospital and general population. |
