JTFN Lunch & Learn
Daniel Rothner, Areyvut's Founder & Director will be leading the JTFN's (Jewish Teen Funders Network) Lunch & Learn program. Daniel's topic is "Beyond Rambam's Ladder: Incorporating Jewish Wisdom in Jewish Teen Philanthropy Programs". The goal of this program is to help Jewish teen philanthropy program facilitators utilize Jewish texts and sources to further the knowledge base and enhance the Jewish teen philanthropy experience for their program participants.
The primary goal of most Jewish teen philanthropy programs is to educate teens about philanthropy through a Jewish lens. Rather than “classroom” lectures, this learning takes place through innovative programming, interactive exercises, and thoughtful discussion. In the lunch and learn, we’ll examine several ways that Jewish texts relate to giving, as well as creative ways to incorporate them into your programming efforts.
