Areyvut is Looking for a Few Good Interns

Areyvut is searching for high school and college students to take part in our annual Summer Internship Program.  During the summer months interns are given the opportunity to learn about Areyvut and the important work we do.  This year Areyvut's Summer Interns will be given the opportunity to work in the following areas:

The internship is a full time or part time position depending on your availability.  The program will begin in late May/early June and end on or about the first week in August 2009.

Interns will attend seminars on issues relating to nonprofit organizations and Jewish communal organizations throughout the course of the summer.  Some interns may be eligible for college credit.  Though the internship is an unpaid position, we believe the skills and experiences gained will be utilized for years to come. 


Qualifications:
  • Highly motivated
  • Strong interpersonal and management skills
  • Past nonprofit or leadership experience a plus
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Basic computer proficiency
  • Basic knowledge of Judaism a plus, but nt required
  • Experience developing educational materials, implemeting programs an grant writing a plus
