BNAI MITZVAH PROJECT IDEAS

Through our Bnai Mitzvah Resource Center, we have reached out to students, parents, and educators to help incorporate social action into bar/bat mitzvah celebrations. Below is a link to a list of projects that can make your celebration more meaningful while making the world a better place at the same time. We think it is ideal for students to select projects in their areas of interest. Doing so will enable you to have more ownership and involvement in the project. It will hopefully encourage you to continue beyond your bar/bat mitzvah and ignite a lifelong commitment to social justice, charity and kindness.

We want to acknowledge the support of Targum Shlishi, a Raquel and Aryeh Rubin Foundation who enabled us to update this list so that it is more comprehensive and user-friendly. We encourage you to visit their website (www.targumshlishi.org) to learn more about their work.
