Yeshiva University recently launched QUEST: Quality Education Skills Training in an effort to infuse educators and communities with a new and improved language and ability to deal with the issues they face. QUEST Fellows are undergraduate students who play a central role in informal educational programming, community building and outreach. On April 3rd, Areyvut held a training session for Yeshiva University’s QUEST members. The session focused on the proper way to introduce educational programs within schools, synagogues and communities. Areyvut staff members conducted various exercises with the students in order to give them a hands-on approach to teaching chesed. The session was well received by the students; many were even inspired to stay beyond the end of the program to further discuss related issues.
