NETWORKING

Areyvut and MACHAR (www.machar.net) believe that to make tikkun olam a core practice of Jewish education, professionals need the opportunity to learn from each other, encourage each other, and become a cadre of advocates. Therefore, together they have established a network of educators and practitioners committed to addressing the ideas of tzedakah, chesed, and tikkun olam with teens. Colleagues gather monthly at the Jewish Community Center in Manhattan to share ideas, generate new ideas, and work together to elevate the quality of education of our Jewish youth. Participants include representatives from local day schools, congregational schools, and informal educators as well as representatives from regional and national agencies. Areyvut has held networking meetings at the Jewish Community Center in Manhattan.

If you are interested in arranging or attending a networking event, please contact daniel@areyvut.org or call the Areyvut office at 201-244-6702.
