CONFERENCES & TRAINING 2003 - 2004

One of Areyvut's primary goals is to train Jewish educators throughout the United States and to provide them with the resources to better incorporate these ideals into their core curricula.

Below is information about conferences & training sessions that Areyvut has led or will participate in.

Fall

Areyvut trained the teachers and leadership of Temple Anshe Sholom in Olympia Fields, IL on the Jewish Ethics of Speech in preparation for a program with their sixth grade Hebrew School class. The training included exploring Jewish sources on the topic and explained the curriculum developed by Areyvut specifically for the program at Temple Anshe Sholom. Areyvut is providing on going support to the teachers as they implement this program.

November 11, 2003
Areyvut led a session to day school teachers and administrators on "Building Connections and Enhancing Commitment to Israel Through Chesed Projects" for The Board of Jewish Education of Greater New York at their annual Israel Berman In-service Day at HAFTR in Lawrence, NY.

For additional information on any of these topics &/or to arrange a training session in your school or synagogue please contact us at 212-813-2950 or daniel@areyvut.org.
