On August 9th, Areyvut founder and director Daniel Rothner met with campers at Camp Moshava in Wild Rose, WI for an experiential program on tikkun olam. Campers participated in a variety of activities that were designed to encourage self-reflection on campers’ present involvement in tikkun olam and promote an increased level of future action. These activities included brainstorming everyday items that can be used to accomplish tikkun olam, cooperative planning of tikkun olam projects, illustrating characteristics of people who are heavily involved in tikkun olam, and writing introspective letters about engagement in tikkun olam. Campers enjoyed the opportunity to interact with Daniel and spoke enthusiastically about the possibility of participating in tikkun olam projects in the future.
