Neima (Rachel) Chasky: Neima (Rachel) Chasky grew up in Staten Island. As far back as high school at the Yeshiva of Flatbush she was lauded for "chessed and menschlichkeit which others may well emulate." She has been deeply involved with the Jewish community with a passion for working with teenagers and the physically & mentally challenged community. She earned a degree from Sy Syms School of business, division of Yeshiva University. After college, Neima continued to pursue charitable endeavors and has taken leadership roles in the Corporate philanthropic world. Rachel aka Neima currently works at Citigroup in the Private Bank as a risk analyst with hopes to incorporate her passion for the charitable world as part of her professional career . Prior, she worked at Goldman Sachs for three and a half years. At Goldman Sachs she was involved in Charity Teamworks and served as liaison between the company and Yachad for two years. Rachel is a valued member of the YLC Executive Board Personnel Committee and Areyvut board. Additionally, she is part of a scholars program, the Professional Leaders Project, initiated by the Steinhardt foundation to harness the talent of young Jewish leaders.
Fred Claar: Fred Claar was the President of Claar Bros., Inc., a wholesale diamond company, for over thirty years. He is currently the Vice President of
the Board of Jewish Education (BJE) of Greater New York, a Chairman of
the Westchester Advisory Committee of the BJE, a Life Member of the
Coalition for Advancement of Jewish Education (CAJE) and the treasurer
of Congregation Sulam Yaakov. Fred received his B.A. from Tufts University and been involved in a wide arrange of leadership positions for the UJA-Federation of New York.
Joshua Lookstein: Joshua is the Executive Director of the S. Daniel Abraham Foundation. He earned a Bachelors degree in Jewish Philosophy from Yeshiva University and a Masters degree in Medieval Jewish History from the Bernard Revel Graduate School. Joshua received his rabbinic ordination from the Rabbi Isaac Elchanan Theological Seminary. Prior to joining the foundation, he served as the Rabbi of Congregation Agudath Sholom in Stamford, CT for a period of one year, and then as the Assistant Rabbi of Congregation Kehilath Jeshurun on the Upper East Side of Manhattan for 4 years. He was also a member of the Judaic Studies faculty at the Ramaz School in Manhattan. Joshua spent last year at the Melton Center in Jerusalem as a Fellow in the Senior Educators Program.
Ilana Kobrin Prager: Ilana Kobrin Prager works as Director of Young Leadership at the Orthodox Union. Ilana studied Music and Near Eastern and Judaic Studies as an undergraduate at Brandeis University, where she also received an MA in Near Eastern and Judaic studies. Ilana has worked at Hebrew College in Newton, MA, and most recently at the American Jewish Joint Distribution Committee where she worked in the department of Budget and Program Planning for six years. Ilana, a native of St. Paul, MN, lives on the Upper West Side of Manhattan with her husband, David.
Alexandrea J. Ravenelle: Alexandrea is the Marketing Manager for TCC Group, a consulting firm that works with nonprofit organizations, philanthropies and corporate citizenship programs to achieve social impact. Previously the Director of The Elie Wiesel Foundation for Humanity, she managed the Foundation’s fundraising, marketing and communications and directed The Elie Wiesel Prize in Ethics Essay Contest for college students. Alexandrea also works as an Adjunct Lecturer at Yeshiva University’s Stern College for Women where she teaches Intro to Sociology and Race, Class and Gender. Alexandrea has a Master's degree in Sociology with an emphasis on women and religion and a Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Women's Studies and Sociology from the University of Missouri. She lives in Murray Hill.
Yosef Rothstein: Yosef is an attorney at O'Melveny & Myers, specializing in commercial litigation and product liability. Yosef received his J.D. degree from Columbia Law School where he was the editor-in-chief of the Journal of Law and Social Problems and served as a Board Member and Treasurer of the Unemployment Action Center, Inc., a not-for-profit organization offering free legal representation to individuals seeking unemployment benefits from the New York Department of Labor. Yosef received his B.A. degree in Economics from Yeshiva College.
Yosef is a member of the Riverdale Jewish Center. Yosef is married to Elisheva and they have one son, Daniel Kefir.
Ezra Tuchman: Ezra is a Vice President at Eurohypo, a boutique Real Estate Investment Bank. Previously, Ezra was a management consultant at BearingPoint, specializing in commercial lending and real estate finance. He received his B.A. degree in Political Science from Yeshiva College in 1997. Ezra lives in New Rochelle with his wife Debbie and their sons Louis Samuel and Solomon Ethan.
